1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WhatFlixx application and related services ("WhatFlixx", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using WhatFlixx, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall and discontinue using the application.
2. Description of Service
WhatFlixx is a movie and television discovery platform offering conversational AI recommendations, social watchlists, soundtrack playlists, and streaming provider availability data. WhatFlixx is an informational and entertainment discovery tool; WhatFlixx does not host, stream, or broadcast licensed movie video streams directly.
3. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions (WhatFlixx Pro)
WhatFlixx offers optional auto-renewable premium subscriptions ("WhatFlixx Pro") that include 300 accumulating AI credits each month, cloud sync, and priority features. Free users may use AI features whenever they have credits and do not need a Pro subscription to buy credit packs.

- Pro Monthly: $2.99 per month (1 Month duration)
- Pro Yearly: $29.99 per year (1 Year duration)
- Payment Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Automatic Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Renewal Charges: Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate of the selected plan.
- Subscription Management: Subscriptions may be managed from your Apple Account subscription settings on iPhone, iPad, or Mac after purchase.
4. In-App Token Packs (Consumable Purchases)
Free and Pro users may purchase consumable AI Credit Packs: Starter Pack (100 credits for $0.99), Standard Pack (500 credits for $3.99), Power Pack (1,500 credits for $9.99), and Bulk Pack (5,000 credits for $24.99). Credits are consumed as you perform generative AI queries. Purchased credits do not expire, are tied to your user account, and are non-transferable and non-refundable except as provided by Apple's refund policies.
5. User License & Restrictions
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use WhatFlixx on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
You agree not to:
- Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or derive the source code of the app.
- Use automated spiders, crawlers, or scrapers to extract data or images from the app.
- Abuse, spam, harass, or submit offensive content within movie discussions or user profiles.
- Circumvent or tamper with subscription validation, token counters, or security controls.
6. Intellectual Property & Third-Party Trademarks
- WhatFlixx Brand: The WhatFlixx name, logo, software code, and interface designs are the intellectual property of Ario Labs Inc.
- TMDB Attribution: WhatFlixx uses The Movie Database (TMDB) API for movie metadata, posters, and streaming availability. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
- Streaming Provider Trademarks: Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Apple TV+, Max, Hulu, and other streaming service names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners and are referenced solely for streaming availability identification.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
WhatFlixx is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive to provide the most accurate and up-to-date streaming provider listings and movie data, catalog availability may fluctuate dynamically per region and provider licensing.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall WhatFlixx, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of this service.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to WhatFlixx at any time without notice for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, our partners, or our business interests.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
