Your Right to be Forgotten: You have full control over your data. In accordance with Apple Developer guidelines and privacy regulations, you can permanently delete your account and all associated personal records at any time.
How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account using either of the following two methods:
Method 1: Instant In-App Deletion (Fastest)
- Open the WhatFlixx app on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV.
- Tap your Profile / Settings tab (bottom right).
- Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your decision when prompted. Your account, watchlists, match history, and cloud sync records are purged immediately from our databases.
Method 2: Web Deletion Request Form
If you no longer have access to the app or device, submit a web deletion request below. Our data compliance team will verify ownership and permanently remove your records within 48 hours.
What Happens When Your Account is Deleted?
- Personal Information: Your name, email address, avatar, and authentication identifiers are permanently erased from Cloud Firestore and authentication servers.
- Watchlists & Ratings: All saved movies and rated titles are removed.
- AI Chat Transcripts: All past conversational context stored in your profile is deleted.
- Subscriptions: Important note: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Apple In-App Subscription. Subscriptions must be canceled via your iPhone
Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptionsto prevent Apple from billing you on your next cycle.
